Pathophysiology in Nursing

Catalog description

This course assists learners in acquiring foundational pathophysiological understanding of disease processes at the cellular level. The learner will identify risk factors, clinical manifestations, diagnostic testing, laboratory values, and nursing interventions for pathophysiological health alterations across the lifespan. The learner will utilize evidence-based information to identify educational priorities to promote health and prevent illness. Learners will continue to assess and document their ongoing development and achievement of competencies.
