Catalog description

This course is primarily aimed at teaching basic concepts of assessment and various assessment process and procedures that are involved in decision making and program planning for students with diverse range of disabilities in a classroom or functional setting. This course will prepare students to select, ethically administer, analyze, interpret and report data from various norm-referenced, criterion-referenced and curriculum-based assessment tools and strategies. This course will also prepare the students to utilize the data that they obtained from the assessment procedures for the purpose of measuring intervention effectiveness, monitoring progress and educational decision making.
