Catalog description

This course is designed to teach the history and legislation of special education services. The characteristics of students with exceptionalities, and at-risk students, are discussed in the context of identification, instruction, and intervention. Differentiated instruction to support the learning needs of all students is considered based on high leverage practices in a culturally responsive manner.
