Catalog description

This course provides teachers with an overview of how theoretical and curricular foundations have evolved to form the current 21st century model of classroom instruction. Students gain practical instruction on how key technologies are being utilized to meet the needs of 21st century learners. The course combines a theoretical framework for technology integration with criticalthinking, problem solving, communication, collaboration,creativity, and innovation. Instructional methods,curriculum, and technology are integrated as thematic focal points, emphasizing practical understanding of how educational technologies function. This course satisfies the Curriculum Foundations standard in the M.Ed. Core.
