Catalog description

As an introductory course specific to non-traditional, undergraduate students that are currently in the workforce and looking to take the next step in their careers, this course focusses on the nature and characteristics of leadership across a range of professions and contexts. Students will use personal work and life experiences as examples to analyze a variety of information on leadership to determine effective practices. The course will include classic and contemporary leadership theories, and encourage students to develop their own leadership philosophy based on those theories and their personal work and life experiences.
