Catalog description
The capstone research project serves as the culminating experience for cybersecurity students. Under the supervision of a faculty advisor, students will design, execute, and present an original research project that addresses a current issue or challenge in cybersecurity. Projects may be theoretical, applied, or experimental, and may involve topics such as system security, cryptography, penetration testing, malware analysis, policy, or emerging technologies. The course emphasizes project management, independent research, scholarly communication, and ethical responsibility.
