Catalog description

This course is an introduction to machine learning, covering both supervised and unsupervised techniques, and includes topics such as regression, classification, neural networks, support vector machines, dimensionality reduction, and clustering. Students will develop the basic skills to decide which learning algorithm to use for what problem, code the learning algorithms, and analyze their performance.
