Capstone in Communication

Catalog description

The capstone offers course credit for a student project in strategic communication. Students apply communication theory and research to identify and analyze a strategic communication problem affecting an organization and its stakeholders. Students collect and analyze data using appropriate research methods and analysis tools. Students interpret data, develop communication strategies and tactics, and propose recommendations to the organization's leadership that address the problem. The capstone course will be guided/directed by the instructor. Graded S/U.
