Catalog description

The course provides an explanation of and defines the applied nature of risk and crisis communication. Topics will include research to identify risk and crisis events; theory to predict, explain and address issues; risk and crisis preparation in organizations; and strategic messaging. Students will review risk and crisis management and communication scenarios in various organizational settings.
