Catalog description

This course examines quantitative and qualitative research methods commonly used in the field of strategic communication, such as survey research, interviewing, content analysis and focus groups. Emphasis is on collecting, analyzing, and using data to make strategic decisions in organizational settings. The course will also discuss the ethical issues associated with protecting human subjects while conducting research.
