Relational Communication in Sport

Catalog description

This course will investigate the multiple relationships that exist in sports. Interpersonal communication theory will be used to anaylze relationships including family relationship in sports, coach-athlete relationships, as well as team and organizational relational dynamics. The course will also investigate how and why these relationships grow or fail based on the communication between the parties.
