Catalog description
An inquiry into ancient and contemporary methods of learning, with emphasis on the role of the instructor in a classical classroom. This course will explore how the interlocutors in the greatest ancient dialogues navigated the conversation and will provide students opportunities to practice these techniques themselves. Not appropriate as a substitute for COE courses. Prior completion of CL 101 is recommended, but not required.
