Catalog description

This course examines the human being from the physiological perspective. Emphasis is placed on understanding the biological, chemical, and physical aspects of the major organ systems of the body; nervous, muscle, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, digestive, endocrine and reproductive. Each system is studied from the persepctive of how that system functions independently within the human body, and how it contributes to the overall functioning of the human being. 3 hours of lecture, and 2 hours of lab per week. Offered each spring.
