Catalog description
This course covers the core set of technical skills that are applied in a wide variety of industries and settings. It provides an overview of the various disciplines required of a Mechatronics Technician and how the disciplines are combined to ensure modern mechanical equipment and processes are efficient, productive, and reliable. This is an integrated introduction to various methods of power used in mechanical systems, such as electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, information technology and computer control systems and how electrical energy is produced, controlled and utilized.
