Catalog description

This course continues to prepare the student in the nursing care of the adult patient throughout their lifespan, incorporating all phases of the nursing process for complex disease. The student will utilize the knowledge, skills and attitude in prevention and treatment of the disease process as it affects body systems. Pharmacology, Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, and Gerontological, will be included. The clinical experience will give the student an opportunity to continue the application of the nursing process to clients in a variety of clinical facilities. Prerequisites: Successful completion of all First and Second Semester PNUR Courses.
