Catalog description
This course will provide the student with an overview of both the history and the major topics of consideration in the broad study of Western philosophy. Specifically, students will examine logic, epistemology, metaphysics, religion, ethics, political and social philosophy along with the major philosophers who have contributed to these areas. An emphasis will also be placed on the application of these areas of study to everyday life decisions which may assist the student in developing a life philosophy.
