Catalog description

This course is designed for future elementary and middle school teachers with an emphasis on problem solving, reasoning and proof, communication, connections, and representation. Topics include sets, numeration, whole number operations, properties, and computation number theory, fractions, decimals, ratio, proportion, percent, integers, rational and real numbers, and algebra. Prerequisite: College Algebra (MATH11003) with a grade of C or better.
