Catalog description
The Medical Ethics and Privacy course is an instruction in principles, procedures, and regulations involving legal and ethical relationships among physicians, patients, and medical office administrative personnel. This course will address civil acts, contracts, negligence and ethical concepts as they relate to the healthcare professional. In this course we will discuss Managed Care legislature, HIPPA, and other healthcare legislative rulings.
