Introduction to Criminology explores various explanations of criminal behavior and deviance. More specifically, this course focuses on criminology the scientific study of theories of crime, desistance, and social contexts and the influence these have on criminal behavior. Through careful consideration of trends, data, research, theory, and so on, we can better understand nefarious human behavior and our responses to it.
