Catalog description

Foundations of Education: This course provides prospective teachers and those who have an interest in education a fundamental background in the teaching profession, including career opportunities, educational infrastructure, students and their communities, legal aspects of education, educational philosophy, and curriculum and instruction. This course includes a thirty hour observation component. Prerequisite: Composition I (ENGL 1113) with a grade of C or better or concurrently enrolled.
