Catalog description

Basic Blueprint Reading: This is a basic course designed for students pursuing a career in any of the manufacturing and industrial fields. It is a study to help students develop the basic skills required for visualizing and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints. Students seeking careers in engineering, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronics fields will benefit from visualizing shapes, line usage, dimensioning and tolerancing, notes and symbols. Prerequisites: Math 1003 Foundations of Math I with a grade of C or above or above or eligible by test scores for Foundations of Math II.
