Study of the organization and functioning of the United Nations, significant problems confronting world organization, weaknesses of the UN, and the future of world organization. Students will conduct research and write papers on significant international issues confronting the UN and on the foreign policy of selected members of the UN. Only one Model United Nations course may be taken for credit during a semester.
