Catalog description

This course is designed to provide the student with the skills necessary to critique, evaluate, and apply theories from nursing and related healthcare disciplines. Philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of the nursing discipline will be explored with in depth discussion of knowledge development and theory analysis. Students will study a selected phenomenon in depth and learn the strategies for concept analysis and development, and application of theory to practice. $15 course fee.
