This course provides a broad introduction to the methodologies, practices, and applications of music pedagogy for advanced musicians. The course material will include historical treatises, method books, scales and technical studies, etudes, and grades repertoire. Each topic of discussion will be addressed through independent research, reading, discussion, and the practical application of concepts and exercises through studio or classroom teaching.
