A study of important plant practices associated with horticulture and agronomic crop production, including classification of plants, the role of soil and the environment, plant management, cropping systems, and integrated pest management and harvest methods. Principles and practices in propagation of plants and sexual and asexual reproduction methods. Lecture three hours, laboratory two hours.
