SPAN1023 Elementary Spanish II is a continuation of SPAN1013 Elementary Spanish I. It seeks to further develop basic proficiency in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The instruction is communicatively oriented and emphasizes the everyday life and culture of Spanish-speaking people. It is strongly recommended that the student should have completed SPAN1013 Elementary Spanish I with a “C” or better. Prerequisite: SPAN1013 Elementary Spanish I or at least one year of high school Spanish. ACTS Equivalency: SPAN1023 Spanish II.
