Nursing Practicum III

Catalog description
This clinical experience continues to build upon previous instruction and allows the student to deliver higher-level nursing care, perform higher-level clinical decision-making, and demonstrate management and leadership skills. Team leading and the care of critically ill clients are major components of this course. Students will engage in the clinical application of concepts covered in RNSG2318 Nursing Process III, demonstrating independence and mastery of the role of an entry-level Registered Nurse. Corequisites: RNSG2518 Nursing Process III, RNSG2511 NCLEX-RN Preparation (9 hour/week practicum). Prerequisites: RNSG2119 Nursing Process I, RNSG2123 Nursing Practicum I, RNSG2216 Nursing Process II, RNSG2413 Nursing Practicum II. SECONDARY TEACHING EDUCATION
