Catalog description

Provides experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, and participating in vein puncture and specimen collection in hospitals, clinic laboratories, and health services areas. Students will work one on one with a preceptor in the clinic area. Graduates of the program may work in a hospital clinic or doctor’s office laboratory. Corequisites: PHL1101 CPR and First Aid, PHL1105 Phlebotomy.
