Catalog description

The Medication Assistant-Certified course is designed to educate qualified individuals to administer certain nonprescription and legend drugs in designated facilities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The student will be required to participate in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. The course totals 105 contact hours. Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the certification examination offered by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. MUSIC
