Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a general understanding of biology and the mechanism of how living cells work by covering the scientific method, general taxonomy of living cells, cellular structures and physiology, DNA structure and genetics, and evolutionary theory as applied to cellular systems. Corequisite: BIOL2211 Biology of the Cell Lab. ACTS Equivalency: BIOL1014 Biology for Majors.
