Catalog description

Builds on knowledge and skills gained in WELD 14304 (Intermediate Gas Tungsten Arc Welding). Students have the opportunity to learn and practice high frequency TIG welding techniques on aluminum and stainless steel and will practice root beads with stainless steel rods. Students will have the opportunity to test for AWS 17.1 Fusion Welding for Aerospace (extra fee required). Prerequisite: WELD 14304.
