Catalog description
Builds on basic knowledge and skills gained in WELD 14004 Gas Tungsten Arc Welding. Students have the opportunity to gain proficiency by learning and practicing root beads, root beads with hot pass and fill and cap on mild steel. A grade of “C” or better is required before a student may advance to WELD 15004 Advanced Gas Tungsten Welding. Prerequisite: WELD 14004.
