Catalog description

Explores limits, derivatives, and integrals. Emphasizes business calculus applications including marginal analysis, optimization, and extrema and concavity of functions. (Will not satisfy requirements for mathematics degrees. Credit will not be given for both MATH 10843 and MATH 24005 or for MATH 10843 and MATH 22003.) Prerequisite: MATH 11003 or MATH 13004 with a grade of a “C” or better or a score of 23 or above on ACT, or consent of instructor.
