Catalog description

Introduces the fundamentals of programming and operating computerized numerically controlled machining equipment. Emphasis on set up tooling, operation, and basic program development. Course work in Computer Numerical Control programming, with emphasis on programming, debugging, and operation techniques. Students will learn advanced techniques which are required in the production of complex items on a CNC machine. Particular advanced features of the specific controllers will also be explored. Prerequisite: MSTE 13074 and TECH 10044.
