Catalog description
Students will be required to produce intricate parts to extremely high tolerances on various manual lathes, based off of provided blueprints. Information required to do will also be taught and applied such as precision measuring, trigonometry, algebra, and multiple-part interface. Mastery of this course provides a solid, and necessary foundation on which Machining II is built. Prerequisite or Co-requisite: MSTE 10053.
