Catalog description

Continuation of CNA 1003 providing instruction with an emphasis on technical skills, professional relationships, and workplace ethics. Clinical hours are completed during ALHE 10234. Graduates of the program are eligible to complete the Arkansas skills test to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Graduates of the CNA program are prepared to work in long-term care, acute care, and home-health care settings. Prerequisite: Completion of ALHE 10233 with a grade of “C” or better.
