Examines the components involved in the powertrain system. All areas of the powertrain are covered, including manual and automatic transmissions, four and all-wheel-drive systems, differentials, and engines. Diagnostic and proper repair techniques will be covered as well as some history of these systems as they relate to development of further technology.
