Sem. Hrs: 2 Introduction to the growing legal and regulatory requirements being placed on radiology departments and professionals. Content includes American College of Radiology. Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Food and Drug Administration, and state regulatory regulations as well as other legal considerations regarding personnel, operations and staffing. Fall, Summer. Prerequisites: formal acceptance in to the professional program.
