Sem. Hrs: 1.5 Evaluates concepts of stress response and traumatic experiences across the lifespan. Building on previous knowledge of physiology, will examine the effect of traumatic stress on the development and prevention of psychiatric disorders. Healthcare policies will be analyzed. Restricted to Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration program. Prerequisites: NURS 6003, NURS 6013, NURS 6023 Prerequisites/Corequisites: NURS 6063, NURS 6073
