Sem. Hrs: 3 Develops critical thinking skills using medication for psychiatric diagnoses across the lifespan. Building on the prerequisite courses in pharmacology, pathophysiology, and health assessment, will analyze the interventions from national guidelines and evidenced-based practice, forming the foundation for prescribing. Restricted to Master of Science in Nursing-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration program. Prerequisites: NURS 66003, NURS 66033, NURS 66043
