Sem. Hrs: 3 Designed to assist preservice teachers in becoming widely acquainted with the role literature plays in the continuing literacy development of middle level students. Features current trade books and other literary forms. Spring, Summer. Four clock hours of fieldwork are required in middle level classroom settings. Prerequisites: Admission to the Teacher Education Program.
