Sem. Hrs: 3 Techniques for the construction of compilers. BNF and EBNF representations. Lexical, syntactic and semantic analysis. Top-down and bottom-up parsing. Construction of run-time systems and symbol table routines. Code generation and optimization. Automation tools. Prerequisites: CS 3113 or "B" or better in CPSI 55032.
