Sem. Hrs: 3 Examination of the characteristics of learners with varying learning strengths and needs, including multilingual learners. Focus on effective learning through the development of evidence-based differentiation techniques: response to intervention, asset-driven family involvement, scaffolding, and sheltered content instruction. Fall. Restricted to BSE in Middle Level or Elementary Education. Prerequisites: SPED 40143, Admission to Teacher Education Program.
