Sem. Hrs: 3 Study of the nomenclature, bonding, preparations and reactions of compounds of carbon, including aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, haloalkanes, alcohols, and ethers. Lecture three hours per week. Fall, Spring. Special course fees may apply. Prerequisites: CHEM 14201 and C or better in CHEM 14203.
