Catalog description

Sem. Hrs: 3 A one semester chemistry survey course introducing selected fundamental concepts including dimensional analysis, mole concept, atomic and molecular structure, nomenclature, chemical reactions, thermochemistry, intermolecular interactions, gases, mixtures, kinetics, equilibrium and acid base chemistry. Fall, Spring. Prerequisites: completion of MATH 11003, MATH 11103, or a MATH course for which these are a prerequisite. Corequisites: CHEM 12101.
