Fundamental principles of cancer biology. Causes of cancer, underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms, diagnosis and rational treatment, and cancer research methods and dissemination of findings. Lecture three hours per week. Fall, odd. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in BIO 2011, BIO 2013, and BIO 3013; or instructor permission.
