Introduces the process of developing a plan for starting a business and presenting that plan to potential investors in order to obtain financing. Covers the purposes of a business plan, the varying objectives of different types of investors or financial institutions, and how they complement or conflict with the interests of an entrepreneur. Topics include proprietary positioning, types of organization, and differing management objectives.
