Catalog description

Creates brand identity initiatives by beginning with a focus on research and strategy. Covers how the support system of design principles, color, imagery, typography and composition makes an entire brand identity program cohesive, yet differentiated. Explores major media development tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud) in a way that can help students select the right approach for a brand, and also to make good choices for working across media. Differentiates between critical digital literacy as opposed to functional digital literacy, which focuses predominately on how to operate software applications.
