Catalog description

Covers the use of data and machine learning to develops Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for decision-making challenges in manufacturing. Includes (1) common data types in manufacturing, e.g., images, time series; (2) fundamental data processing and analytical techniques; (3) machine-learning models applicable to the data types; and (4) decision-making activities in manufacturing applications that those data, techniques and model support. Incorporates programming as a critical part of the course to give students hands-on experience to implement these methods on real data.
