Advanced studio in landscape ecological planning at the urban and regional scale. Students collect and apply ecological and cultural data to design resilient and sustainable urban systems. Emphasizes co-design with community partners, addressing climate adaptation, biodiversity, shade equity, water and green infrastructure, and social justice. Studio projects link theory with applied design through ecological analysis, fieldwork and site-scale interventions.
